Meanwhile, in Japan, the art of woodblock printing, known as ukiyo-e, was flourishing, capturing scenes of landscapes, kabuki actors, and beautiful women that would later influence Western artists like Vincent van Gogh. Asia was truly a vibrant and influential region during this time!
