They assessed the area’s walkability score, the number of coffee shops, the variety of food trucks, the farmer’s market ratio, the number of locally owned bars and restaurants, and the percentage of residents who work in any art related industry. Guess what? Silver Lake, was number one. Yep, that’s right. Silver Lake is the hippest hipsterhood in the entire U S of A. Take that Williamsburg. Too bad, so sad Austin. Guess what else?
