Sligh Furniture Company was first started in 1880 by Charles Sligh. Sligh Furniture Company was the first of its kind to offer all the furniture pieces one might need for the bedroom under one roof. This innovation transformed the furniture industry for the better. Now one could coordinate styles and finishes without having to shop around.

This compact traditional wooden writing desk was made in Holland, Michigan by Sligh. The top is made of leather and has hand embossed gold detailing. There are four drawers in total.

This vintage velvet slipper chair is from the 1950s and has button detailing and multi colored stripes. Would make a great writing or vanity chair.
