Sure the 80s didn't have iPhones with cloud storage and geo location capabilities, but they did have this marvelous thing called answering machines which allowed you to screen calls from debt collectors and pesky in-laws.
Sure the 80s didn't have Netflix, but they did have this amazing video rental store called Blockbuster which allowed you to peruse the new releases while you and your date simultaneously digest the steak and lobster sampler from the Sizzler.
